We, here at Open Arms School consider PARENT ACCEPTANCE as the most important thing to be achieved before getting proper treatments for the child.

We have parent guidance programs at the end of each month operated with discrete strategies to make the life of parents easier when dealing with special kids. Through such guidance campaigns, we aim at establishing autism acceptance not only in individual families but also as a social awareness program.

Diagnosis & Assessments

Worried about the diagnosis procedure? We got you. All you have to do is to visit Open Arms with your special one and get free assessments on daily basis. Our professional staffs are trained for making the session comfortable and productive. Our assessment team consist of psychologist, behavioral therapist and occupational therapist.

In addition to the child’s academic excellence we have a special educator to analyse the child with standardized tools. The productivity of each assessment session, depends upon the parent’s transparency in sharing the details. Every parent should be willing to share all the details regarding the child including their medical history to help the therapist for getting a clear picture of the child’s condition.

Extra-curricular Activities

Open Arms School for Autism supports all kind of extra-curricular activities as they would help to identify the special talent in each child. We provide dance, sports, art & crafts etc. this will modify the child’s behavior to an extent and also makes them excellent in particular fields.

Mandatory review of progress

Monthly review of progress is one among the foremost services that we are providing. This will help the parent, therapist and the management to get a better understanding of the child’s achievements so far. Each and every sectors of development will be reviewed in detailed and constantly works to attain difficult goals in each child’s case.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is very much important for a child to get peer group interaction. Apart from individual therapy sessions we equally implement group therapy sessions for encouraging children to build relationships with others and to practice confident communication skills and also to introduce the custom of socialization. Such group sessions will improve the child individually and also make them less anxious to be in a crowd.

Special Education Program

Talking about the importance of education in differently abled kids, we have understood that every parent wants their child to get basic knowledge about the things around them. The concepts around us which helps us in our daily lives are stored inside our memory. But most of the differently abled kids finds it difficult to feed all the concepts easily. Here at our school we have affectionate special educators who help each child with IEP to improve their academic knowledge as well as to understand the basic concepts around them.

Therapies for school-going children

If your child is attending regular school and he/she only exhibits minimal or mild ASD, please don’t hesitate to visit us. We have special therapy sessions for school-going children which helps them to ease and erase the struggles in daily life.

Parent Interactive Sessions

Every autistic kid needs individual care and attention so as their parents. Open Arms team is always with the parents as a strong pillar of support throughout their special journey. Regular meetings are conducted to share the child’s achievements. Such sessions help the to relieve their stress and makes them more engaged with the therapist and could help them working together to achieve their child’s specific goals.

Employment Support for Therapist/Special Educators

We welcome not only experienced staffs but also provides training to freshers. Anyone interested in taking care of special kids and special ones for us too.
